Imphal, April 13, 2026: The Don Bosco Holiday Makers at Ravalico College Hostel, Imphal, were privileged to attend an inspiring interactive session titled “Meet the UPSC Aspirant”, featuring HL Ningson, B.Tech (Civil), a dedicated UPSC aspirant.
The programme, held at 5:00 pm in the hostel premises, drew enthusiastic participation from the students, who were eager to gain insights into competitive examinations and career planning.
During the session, Mr. Ningson shared valuable guidance drawn from his own preparation journey. He emphasized the importance of resilience, encouraging students to remain strong and focused even in the face of challenges, especially while preparing for competitive examinations.
Highlighting academic preparation, he stressed the need to build strong fundamentals in all subjects, noting that basic concepts play a crucial role across various competitive exams. He also provided an eye-opening perspective on the intense and highly competitive nature of such examinations, helping students understand the level of dedication required.
Mr. Ningson further spoke about the rigorous daily schedule followed by aspirants, including long hours of study and structured coaching programmes. His insights gave the students a realistic understanding of the discipline and commitment needed for success.
A significant part of his interaction focused on career guidance, where he explained the different pathways available to students after Class X, Class XII, and Graduation, enabling them to make informed decisions about their future.
The session proved to be highly motivating and informative, leaving the students encouraged to set clear goals and work diligently towards achieving them.
