The Conference of Religious India (CRI), Manipur Unit is a vibrant communion of men and women Religious serving across the Archdiocese of Imphal. Inspired by the Gospel and the charism of their respective congregations, the Religious work together in the ministries of education, pastoral care, healthcare, social development, youth ministry and evangelisation, especially among the tribal and rural communities of Manipur.
The vision of CRI Manipur is “to bring together members of Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life so that they may share their experiences, challenges and concerns, and be mutually enriched in their religious commitment.” Its motto, “One Heart and One Soul,” reflects the spirit of fraternity, collaboration and communion that unites the Religious of the state.
Regional Structure
For effective coordination and pastoral collaboration, the Religious communities are organised into six regional zones, each entrusted to an Executive Member who serves as the local coordinator.

These regional executives facilitate communication, organise zonal programmes, promote collaboration among Religious communities, and serve as the link between the local regions and the CRI Manipur Executive.
