Admissions are going as on 10 January 2026.

The recent ethnic unrest, floods, and socio-political disturbances in the Valley have deeply affected the rhythm of normal life. Amidst these challenges, one thing remains constant: our shared commitment to the education and holistic growth of our young people.

In this spirit, Ravalico College Hostel, Imphal, under the care and guidance of the Salesians of Don Bosco, invites applications for hostel accommodation for boys pursuing Plus II and above courses.

We also welcome those who would like to come and prepare for exams – for one week to months and years. Fees will be accordingly charged. There will be no admission fees in such cases. To know the fee structure, kindly send an enquiry on this number: 9612681605

1. INTRODUCTION

Ravalico College Hostel is a Catholic boys’ hostel located in Poumai Colony, on the road to Heingang, Imphal, Manipur, under the care of the Salesians of Don Bosco. It provides a safe, value-based, and disciplined environment for young college students, especially those who come from distant villages and seek quality education and formation in the Imphal Valley.
We aim to instill in every hosteller the values of faith, discipline, respect, academic excellence, and the Salesian values taught by Don Bosco, the father and friend of youth.

2. WHO CAN APPLY

  • Male students pursuing College / Plus II / Coaching / Master’s programmes / Internships, etc., in Imphal.
  • Students who are ready to accept the rules and spiritual atmosphere of the hostel.
  • Preference is given to students from remote, underprivileged, or tribal backgrounds.
  • Those who wish to stay for two weeks, a few months, or even several years are most welcome.

3. Hostel Facilities at Ravalico College Hostel

Managed by the Salesians of Don Bosco, renowned for their rich experience in youth accompaniment and holistic education.

Exclusively for students of Plus II and above, ensuring a mature and focused peer environment.

  • Flood-prepared infrastructure with raised and tiled ground floors

4. MENU OF THE HOSTEL

The weekly menu at Ravalico College Hostel provides a simple, balanced, and varied diet across the day:

  • Morning meals are mostly vegetarian, featuring dal, muttor (peas), black channa, or mixed vegetable curry, usually with pickle or chutney.
  • Midday snacks are light and include tea with items like biscuits, suji (sugi),bread, boiled channa, green peas, or occasional veg/chicken fried rice.
  • Evening meals are more substantial, rotating between chicken, fish, egg curry, and vegetarian options like beans or Nutrela.

Overall, the menu ensures a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, with regular inclusion of protein sources such as eggs, chicken, fish, and pulses throughout the week.

6. Admission Requirements:

3. Photographs of both the candidate and the parent/guardian are required.
4. A copy of the candidate’s Aadhaar Card must be submitted.
5. No admission fee is required for short-term stays.

7. What to bring when you come to the Hostel

When a student arrives at the hostel for the first time, it is helpful to provide a clear list of essential items so they can settle in comfortably and live in an orderly way. The following list is proposed for new hostellers.
