Imphal, 1 July 2025 — Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Chingmeirong, Imphal, organized a vibrant and inspiring felicitation programme to honour the successful candidates of the HSLC Examination 2025, celebrating their hard work, perseverance, and excellence. The event was attended by students, parents, teachers, and esteemed guests, creating a joyful and motivating atmosphere in the school hall.
The programme highlighted the “Star 5 of HSLC 2025”, a recognition of the top-performing students, who were felicitated with scarves, certificates, and warm words of encouragement from the school authorities and invited dignitaries. The backdrop bore the vibrant message: “We love you, Don Bosco!” and “Viva Don Bosco!”, setting the tone for a celebration deeply rooted in Salesian spirit and values.
One of the keynote speakers at the event was Fr Benny James SDB, Warden of Ravalico College Hostel, Imphal. Delivering a powerful and deeply encouraging address, he reminded the students that success is not accidental, but the fruit of focus, discipline, and a willingness to be refined through challenges.
“Success,” he said, “is born out of focus, motivation, discipline, and the willingness to go through the fire of challenges. Today’s achievement is only the beginning.”
He stressed the need for commitment and consistency, telling the students that while many dream of success, only a few are willing to “wake up early, study while others relax, and stay true to their goals.”
Fr Benny exhorted the achievers to remain humble, teachable, courageous, and grateful. He concluded with the words of Don Bosco: “Run, jump, shout, but do not sin!”—reminding the students that their energy and dreams must be built on discipline and values.
The event was a fitting tribute to the dedication of students and the nurturing support of teachers and parents. A sense of pride and inspiration filled the hall as the young achievers took their place on stage, encouraged by the presence of experienced educators and religious leaders.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and joyful singing a hymn to Don Bosco, truly capturing the Salesian family spirit and commitment to excellence.
