Imphal, 21 September 2026: The Conference of Religious India (CRI), Imphal Zone, will hold its annual CRI Meet on 28 November 2026 at Nirmalabas High School, M.G. Avenue, Imphal, bringing together religious leaders and heads of educational institutions for fellowship, reflection and planning.
The gathering will focus on the theme, “Making the Educational Apostolate Meaningful and Relevant: Forming Young Minds for Reconciliation, Resilience and Hope in Manipur.” Rev. Fr M. C. George SDB will serve as the resource person.
The main session, scheduled from 4.15 pm to 6.30 pm, will include reflection and group discussion. The organisers intend the interaction to help participants reflect on the role of Catholic educational institutions in forming young people who can contribute to reconciliation, resilience and hope in the present context of Manipur.
The programme will also include Carol singing, a planning session for future CRI activities, a photo session and dinner, with the gathering concluding at 8.00 pm.
The Imphal Zone has particularly invited Superiors and Heads of Religious Houses, Principals, Vice-Principals, Headmasters, Headmistresses, Assistant Headmistresses and others holding similar responsibilities to participate in the gathering.
The meeting seeks to strengthen fraternity and collaboration among religious communities while encouraging a shared response to the educational and pastoral challenges facing young people in Manipur.
