Imphal, 15 July 2026: Ravalico College Hostel was privileged to host Fr M.C. George Menamparampil SDB, who addressed the hostellers on the inspiring theme “Dream Big, Live with Purpose” on 15 July 2026 at 6.00 p.m. The motivational session brought together around 40 hostellers, including Plus II students, undergraduate students, and aspirants preparing for various competitive examinations.
Drawing from his vast experience, personal wisdom, and deep understanding of young people, Fr Menamparampil challenged the students to dream beyond limitations and pursue their goals with determination and purpose. His thought-provoking insights encouraged the gathering to cultivate discipline, perseverance, and a positive outlook in life. He emphasized that success is not the result of talent alone but is built through consistent effort, proper planning, and unwavering commitment to one’s goals.
During the interactive session, students reflected on the valuable lessons they had learned. Haikungam, an aspirant preparing for competitive examinations, summarized the key takeaways as the seven habits of successful candidates:

- Remain consistent.
- Maintain good health.
- Cultivate a positive attitude.
- Learn from mistakes.
Another participant, Nishongam, also preparing for competitive examinations, expressed his appreciation for the session. He shared that Fr Menamparampil’s lifelong experiences motivated him to reflect on his own shortcomings and adopt better strategies for success. He found the guidance on overcoming laziness and procrastination, practising effective time management, and developing self-discipline particularly meaningful. Fr Menamparampil also encouraged students to maintain a structured daily routine and highlighted that future opportunities will increasingly favour those with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to create and manage their own ventures.
The session concluded with an engaging interaction, leaving the students inspired to pursue their academic and personal goals with renewed enthusiasm. It was yet another meaningful initiative of Ravalico College Hostel in its mission of forming disciplined, responsible, and purpose-driven young leaders for society.
