Looking back, my time at Ravalico Hostel during 2012–2013 was one of those unexpected turns that shaped my life in all the right ways. I came here for school, but left with so much more—self-discipline, leadership skills, and, admittedly, a mild addiction to basketball and the occasional bout of hostel mischief (we’ll keep the details for another time).
Living alongside students from diverse backgrounds, I was challenged, humbled, and often teased—all of which forged me into a stronger, better version of myself. The Salesian Fathers made a deep impression too—with their thoughtful conversations, unwavering faith, and life lessons that still guide me today.
Ravalico was never just a hostel with a “lights-out-at-9” routine. It was a second home—filled with laughter, music, brotherhood, and neighbours who were surprisingly patient with our late-night energy.
I hear the hostel has grown even better since then—and honestly, I’d still vouch for it in a heartbeat. Whether you’re here to study, to dream, or simply looking for a place that feels like home (with a few more rules!), Ravalico is the place to be.
No regrets—except maybe not winning that hostel basketball final.
Highly recommended.
